Wilkins Mechanical, Inc. Safety Management maintains responsibility which includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Provide education and training program to personnel at all levels of the company
  • Educate and train personnel in the "Safe Practices" established by our company
  • Evaluate and interpret safety regulations applicable to all situations
  • Maintain technical knowledge of safety requirements and applicable OSHA, DOT, and New York State Code Rule requirements and ascertain that all other personnel have adequate knowledge of the same
  • Provide adequate authority ad resources to responsible parties
  • Develop and implement consistent accountability procedures
  • Develop goals, budgets, and cost controls
  • Encourage all employees to meet production goals safely
  • Maintain incident and injury reports
  • Review all loss control activities at least annually to evaluate effectiveness
  • Plan and prepare for emergencies
  • Establish medical program including limited on-site and other medical care
  • Inform all employees of the procedures to follow in case of an injury or illness

Wilkins Mechanical, Inc. is committed to ensuring all job sites are operating at the safest level possible. We manage risks for the continued safety of our employees, subcontractors, clients and general public. All safety policies maintained by Wilkins meet, and many exceed, the current Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) standards.

Tailgate Safety Meetings are conducted daily to ensure everyone on site is aware of all current health and safety issues on site.
